Psychologist specialising in trauma therapy
Caroline Is a registered Psychologist with over 15 years experience working with people who have experienced complex trauma and associated mental health symptoms. Caroline’s approach is client-focused, warm, empathetic and compassionate. She provides practical skills to assist people work toward recovery and growth.
Caroline works with veterans, individuals, couples and families undergoing life transitions (separation/divorce, career/life crises and ageing). Caroline has specific interest in the assessment and treatment of mental health issues which include depression, anxiety, stress, grief, loss, trauma, PTSD with associated panic symptoms, schizophrenia, bi-polar and self-esteem. Work related matters include accident and injury, return to work and rehabilitation, vocational changes and coaching.
Caroline uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including: CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Family systems theory, ACT, Mindfulness, Schema and Solution Focused approaches.
